About the Author
After going to medical school and completing pediatric residency at the University of New Mexico, School of Medicine; I spent thirty years practicing primary care pediatrics in New Mexico and Texas.
In 2009, I retired from primary care, and now I work part time at the Normal Newborn Nursery of a hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I check healthy newborn babies. I talk to their parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles about all the interesting and puzzling things that happen to newborn babies as they adjust to life in the big new world.
While contemplating retirement, I started taking computer classes at Central New Mexico Community College CNM. For my class on Web Development and Design, I needed to create a final project web site. Since I was raised to "do something useful" I decided to create BABY FAQ for my final project. I published the site in April 2011.
